I love the permanence and solidity of concrete and contrastingly, the lightness and ethereal quality of wire. Both mediums allow me to reference Modigliani and Giacometti, with their elongated forms – all evoking a quiet passive mood, that seem to permeate my work.
Artist’s Biography:
As a Sydney based sculptor, I work in my own studio after graduating in Fine Arts and working in art related industries. My works have sold in many group shows, public and private galleries plus private commissions. Some are in the collections of Macquarie University, Greenwich Hospital and High Valley Winery in Mudgee, as well as in private collections both in Australia and Switzerland.
