Peta Landman is a ceramic sculptor taking inspiration from natural forms and their interactions with the environment. She investigates human vulnerabilities and strengths. The human body in its links with nature demonstrates how we can both adapt and yet remain resilient. Exploring the tactile and malleable qualities of clay are important elements of her practice. Her vessels embody these transient organic and corporal links.
Peta has a Masters of Arts Administration from the College of Fine Arts, UNSW, a Certificate of Sculpture from The National Art School, Darlinghurst and has trained at the Tom Bass Sculpture Studio.
