I have been exhibiting both local and overseas since graduating in 1994

I was invited to exhibit in the Florence Biennale in Italy 2011 and again in 2013.

My work is part of the Thredbo .NSW. collection as well as Camden NSW, and

the Illawarra Grammar School(TIGS).

I have won a number of Art prizes including 20thCamden Art Prize, TIGS Westpac Acquisitive Art Award.

I am a Painter/Sculptor/Photographer/Printmaker amongst others.

I work in mediums such as wood, metal, concrete, bronze, mosaics, silk.

 Photography and do installation work.

I often work with found objects pushing them to the “new”

I experiment, cast, carve and paint; I rarely make editions or repeat the work I do.

Each piece evolves and becomes a stepping stone to the next project.

I work with different mediums not limiting myself to any one form of expression.

At present I am going through a mosaic phase (smashing tiles)

The work starts of as found objects and piece by piece they take on a new life.

There is something innately satisfying in seeing it appear bit by bit.

The work becomes a spontaneous reorientation of found objects.

The object rejected becomes the object revered.

My work evolves from the materials available and the space and time I am in.

It pays homage to the struggle to find identity.

I develop and explore, creating unity, harmony and balance in the materials I work with.

I rarely plan, working instinctively allowing the materials to guide the final result.

 Place influences my work.

I live in the Illawarra, Industrial as well as beach and bush which is often reflected.

The reaction of the viewer in response to my work is part of my fascination,

You the viewer become part of the work.
