DOYLE, Glenn

Glenn trained as a medallion sculptor as an apprentice starting in 1967.  During this time he studied art at Julian Ashton’s art school in Sydney and at Kogarah technical college arts department.
In 2005 he began his independent sculpture career.

Glenn was commissioned to produce the sculptural animals for the Archaeological Dig at the Rock in Sydney, which are on permanent display on that site in Cumberland Street.
As well, he was commissioned to produce the five full sized pelicans in flight at the new wing of the Gosford Hospital.
There have been many private commissioned works in Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain and North America to date.
