DAVIS, Errol B. OAM, B.E. 1926 – 2009

Errol Davis was a former engineer who worked in metals, particularly in bronze castings and stainless steel constructions, which yield to his characteristic flowing forms that stemmed directly from his observations of nature.

His stainless steel sculptures consist of finely detailed modulating profiles, each one a sculpture on its own which, when combined in sequence, define exquisite spatial movement.

Davis’s works were exhibited and collected in Australia and overseas and include a prize winning sculpture at Utsukushi-ga-hara in Japan.  His works were available from his own sculpture “garden” and he produced works on commission for specific locations.
